Magic Falls asleep with the tennis ball in his mouth. He wants to play a ball more than he wants food. I have been woke up in the middle of the night because he wants me to throw the ball. We went camping with some friends, by the time we left they knew how much my dog loves his toy. One friend said he thought he would get tired but he never did. You would think they put something on a tennis ball that he loves.
My dog is also a tennis ball freak. Shes also an attention hog so we have to hide the tennis ball or leave it outside or she tears the place up. She shreads the tennis balls and she'll run around trying to hang on to the last little quarter size piece and play with that. Its hilarious and cute.
It has been raining for the last five days here. Magic has not gotten his play time with the ball like he wants. So last night when I got home I broke my girlfriends rule of not playing ball in the house. It started out just fine, till I tossed it at him kinda hard. It hit his mouth and bounced right at me. The ball hit me in the eye with my eye open still. I had a bad night from then on, my eye was watering and hurting bad. Guess my girl was right.
I have seen this with my uncles dogs. They live a die by the tennis ball. He uses a thing called the sling-it to through the ball. Sling-it also helps with dirty hands and bending over to pick up the ball. Also try playing with him when he is not begging for you attention. If you ever want this to get better you have to give yourself a fighting chance. When I say fighting chance I'm talking about you changing the routine up. Thanks Mel
